HOW TO PREPARE FOR A FULL-BODY JUICE CLEANSE
it’s ideal to take a week or at least a few days to stop your intake of the following:
Sugar and other sweeteners
All animal foods, including dairy, eggs, fish, shellfish, chicken, beef, pork, and all other

Avoiding them “cold turkey” can sometimes create withdrawal symptoms that are too powerful for some to tolerate.

this case, cut out all grains, legumes, nuts and seeds as well.
Raw fruits and veggies only!
The ideal diet leading up to a juice fast is raw, juicy fruit.
If you feel that you are able to accomplish this, please do so!
If you don’t wish to spend up to a week to taper your intake of the foods listed above, it is
okay to begin right away; just be aware that you may experience highly uncomfortable
symptoms of withdrawal, like having strong headaches, nausea, feeling lightheaded, or even flu like
DURING the juice cleanse,
stick to the 8 bottles per day plus any water that you may
need in between juices. Cleansing is performed by your body’s self-regulated cleansing
mechanisms. 50% of the body’s energy is used to digest food. True cleansing can only
occur when we are not digesting food. Drinking only juices will keep the stomach empty
while giving the body nutrients. A more advanced practice is drinking only water. The
body can accomplish the detoxification process much faster while only consuming water. A
juice cleanse may take triple the amount of time to accomplish what a water fast will.

You should have 8 bottles:
5 Selected raw organic cold pressed juices

You will be successful! Whenever a craving for food comes on, you will have something
to grab and drink. You can even chew it if you like!
JUICES are to be consumed every 2 – 3 hours throughout the day.
ALMOND MILK is for a treat for those who have a nighttime sweet tooth. It can be
drunk at lunchtime instead if you think you will not need it at night.
MASTER CLEANSERS should be consumed throughout the day in between the
juices. You don’t have to drink it all at once, as it is meant to stimulate the large

Make sure that your kitchen is well stocked with vegetables and fruits that you enjoy.
Here is a list of vegetables and fruits that can be highly effective to keep the cleanse effects going after your Juice cleanse:
Goji berries, and any other berries that you enjoy
leafy lettuce (romaine, red leaf, green leaf)
Bitter leaves (Arugula, dandelion, Raddichio)
Crunchy leaves (Cabbage of any color, Butter lettuce)
Dark green (kale, collard, spinach)
Red or golden beets
Yukon gold or new potatoes
Sweet potatoes or yams
Acorn or butternut squash
Any other fruits or vegetables that you enjoy raw or juiced
Some of the vegetables listed must be cooked. Try raw but if you need cooked, that is better than anything out of a package or an animal.
Clearly, it’s best to choose fruits and vegetables that are in season. Organic varieties are best, but my experience has been that non-organic produce can also be used to experience amazing health and detox benefits.
Also keep in mind that fermented and cultured vegetables are a great source of probiotics,

Regarding liquids: Have on hand plenty of water that you feel comfortable drinking.

It is OK to drink warm or hot water.
It is also OK to use sparkling mineral water if you desire. however, you should mainly drink “still” water during your cleanse.
Regarding medications: Please do not taper or stop taking prescription medications
without your physician's consent. Although fasting can be a very effective way to taper
off of meds with the least discomfort. (Again, we are not physicians, if you choose to
stop your meds and anything bad happens it’s on you and the doctor who gave you the
Regarding nutritional supplements: Regularly avoid any supplements that contain
synthetic nutrients, protein isolates, grains, nuts, seeds, or lecithin. During the cleanse do
not take supplements. If you cleanse correctly and for long enough you will never need
supplements again! That’s the intention right?! Stop paying money into a multi-billion
dollar industry that makes money off of your sickness (the toxins from the food that you
ate all your life that is blocking your nutrient uptake) It's also fine to take a probiotic as
long as it doesn’t have anything added.
Regarding equipment: If you can chew your foods well, you don't need much by way of
equipment. If you have access to a strong blender and a juicer, you can make smoothies
and juices after your cleanse, but these aren’t absolutely necessary.
